On RetroMC, I mostly work on ObsidianCore, my personal town of sorts and testing grounds/airspace, though I can be lazy/bored sometimes.
On this very wiki, I wrote most of the guides and documented server internals.. I'm probably a wikiholic by this point.
I am also a staff member on here and another partner server. Discord username is noggisoggi, and I'm also on Steam Community.

Backstory

I joined RetroMC on August 16th of 2022 after... reasons I prefer not to say, and ventured out into the wilderness once I got a grasp on the stuff seen in the intro warp.
Owing to my prior experience on another legacy Minecraft server, I went into the Skylands and tried to find a place to reside, but ultimately, didn't find one - I settled near one of the world borders in the Overworld.
My base, named soggyBrane, was established there, but it wasn't the first time it was ever established.

Staff membership

I applied for staff on 15th March of 2023, and was promoted to Trial Helper later that day.
After obtaining the staff role on the Discord server, I've assisted players in tickets, answered most of their questions regarding the server, enforcing rules, et cetera.
I was then promoted to Helper on March 29th, alongside  Gavindg04_, then Moderator on June 23rd and Admin on 10th March of 2024, alongside  thecow275 both times.

Wiki work and special kudos

From the wiki's inception and in the its early days, I worked on it and I was one of the people (alongside  CruxyMC and a few others) who gave this wiki the push it needed to get activity from other players.
In particular, I wrote most of the guides, documented server internals, wrote the dungeon page, the workaround to getting BetaEvolutions working on Apple Silicon Macs, the MobArena page, and several more.
Lo and behold, after a couple of months from the wiki's inception, it has now become a compotent resource for researching and documenting RetroMC, and one of the most fleshed out wikis for a Minecraft server.
This wiki you're reading on wouldn't have risen to the quality it has now if it wasn't for the hard work of various contributors.

sp00kySpider

While strip-mining near my base, I found a spider spawner. I fortified it and told  adamblockmaster about it. They then added a crafting table and furnace to the safe area. I took this as an opportunity to make this into a publicly accessible spawner, and on 27th August 2022, after giving this spawner a makeover, sp00kySpider was open to the public.
Back then, Towny was still on the server, and people could teleport to the spawn points of other towns, so I made a town dedicated to this, but it did prevent me from joining other towns.

ObsidianCore

In December 2022, and before JVillage was added, I disbanded the sp00kySpider town as me and Pilot1218 (then CommandPrompter), after losing interest in trying to revive SmileyTown (formerly perkeland) wanted to make a new town, named soggyInternetBrane (sIBr) (based off Pilot's old Discord name, internet user and my base, soggyBrane.)
We had formed the village on December 14th. That name didn't last long though, as it sounded too much like our usernames, so we rebranded it to ObsidianCore.
The timeline of ObCo is already documented in ObsidianCore/Timeline, but if you want to see the timeline in sign form (albeit incredibly outdated), head to -26808 75 -13520 (x y z) if you wish to see the timeline – it's in the underground section.
Nowadays, I am the most active member and owner of this village, because I have been incredibly disappointed by my inability to generate interest for my assistants in the town.
I prefer to not add anyone else, so abandonment won't be an issue for me to clean up.

This is what I said in response to a question about the future of my former town in another land.
I now believe it's actually a blessing in disguise in ObCo's case.

Other projects

North railway extension

According to the world map, the railway I extended is north of spawn.
Fixing up and extending the north railway was one of my first projects I undertook, and I completed it on 28 August of 2022.
As of 30th July 2023,  dzasohovich extended the railway a bit.

The name of my shop, opened on October 22nd of 2022, updated in June 2023 and closed on 30th March of 2024.
This used to be in Mall 2 (/warp mall and head to your right), but since it was inactive, I took my shop down.
