NorthernEmpires is a nation which contains the village of the same name among several others. It was created on 7 April 2026, becoming the first nation created since the introduction of nations within JVillage earlier on the same day.
As of July 2026, it is one of two nations on RetroMC, the other being the Miterian Empire.

SFRricraz63, created the NorthernEmpires nation on 7 April 2026, becoming the first player to create a nation under the new system.
On 19 April 2026, DogTown and PumpkinWood joined the nation, followed by GoatedLands on 21 April 2026.
At some point between late April and early July 2026, Goated left the nation, becoming the first village to do so.
The villages Canada and WoolMart joined the nation on 5 July 2026.
RMCURA, owned by NorthernEmpires assistant
Spencer199, joined the nation in mid-July 2026.
