NorthernEmpires is a nation which contains the village of the same name among several others. It was created on 15 April 2026, becoming the first nation created since the introduction of nations within JVillage on 7 April 2026.
As of July 2026, it is one of two nations on RetroMC, the other being the Miterian Empire.

History
In the past, nations existed on RetroMC as part of the Towny plugin. After the move to JVillage, these ceased to exist. However on 7 April 2026, nations were introduced into JVillage, costing $50,000 to create. The owner of the NorthernEmpires village, SFRricraz63, created the NorthernEmpires nation on 15 April 2026, becoming the first player to create a nation under the new system.
On 19 April 2026, DogTown and PumpkinWood joined the nation, followed by GoatedLands on 21 April 2026.
At some point between late April and early July 2026, Goated left the nation, becoming the first village to do so.
The villages Canada and WoolMart joined the nation on 5 July 2026.
RMCURA, owned by NorthernEmpires assistant
Spencer199, joined the nation in mid-July 2026.
