Gold Citizen is only required to create these; all ranks can use these gates.

StarGates (RetroGates) are player-made gates to travel across parts of the world via linking these gates together.
These networks are limited to one username only; modification of gates on another network is impossible.

Structure

They are built using 13 obsidian, 2 lapis blocks, 1 diamond block, sign & stone button.

  • Note: Stone button goes before the sign.

The Nether portal style is restricted to Admins only.

Sign

Replace [name] with the desired name of the gate & [username] with your own username.

[name]

pip
[username]

Usage

No commands are used in StarGates; instead, right or left clicking on the sign is used to navigate between destinations.

  • Right-click (place/interact): Move selection downwards
  • Left-click (attack/destroy): Move selection upwards

Press the button to open a portal to the selected destination, & either enter the portal represented by water blocks, or press the button again to close the portal.

  • Once a player activates a StarGate's sign, only said player can interact with the sign/button as any other players will get a 'no-permission' error when attempting to interact with them.

  • Grinder2 at -12303 40 -18556

The Spawn gate at -158 74 -32.
Head to your left (the minigames gate), and walk until you see pixel art of hostile mobs; that's where the StarGate is.

The Downward Spiral Express

16.png NotcX's global StarGate network in the town Mojang.
There's also a second network that contains Mojang's other towns (motowns network).

This is just a selection as there's too many gates to list.
  • Warehouse at 289 71 -96
  • Court at -21205 71 -21338
    • or the Mojang gate under the motowns network

/warp moon and head to your left.
Town gates (motowns) can be access by going to the Court, and turning 180° horizontally.

  • obbyCore at -26786 79 -13491
  • sp00kSpider at 20708 71 20691
  • SnowyTundra at 21367 72 -21430
  • Lounge at -399 39 -245 in the Skylands
Head towards the sp00kSpider gate as it's technically the nearest to Spawn.

16.png AnimusFoxx's StarGates for quick entry/exit to/from their calculator build.

Confusingly, the gate names are swapped with each other.
  • Calculator at 45 65 54
  • Spawn at 6588 65 -1426
Turn 180° horizontally, walk in that direction and towards the iron-gold-backplated StarGate.
