MorshusParadise is a town co-founded by  GreffMASTER and  Xulion on 31st July 2020. Originally it was a BetaLands town, but it was migrated to RetroMC in early July 2023. The town consists of the Town Center, the Underground Area and some buildings outside of the Town Center.

Town rules

The rules are written on the signs in the lobby of the Town Hall. Currently they are as follows:

1. Do not grief or steal items.
2. Respect all other citizens in the town.
3. Use common sense, try to be ethical.
4. Follow the sub-rules in public areas.
5. Do not build offensive or inappropriate builds.
6. Do not make any changes to public builds without permission.
7. Don't cause drama, we're here to have fun.

Town Center

Town Center is the main area in MorshusParadise and contains most of the town's buildings. There are 2 major streets in the town: Morshu's Street (main street) and Lucre Street (residential street).

Notable buildings and structures

• Town Hall - The main administration building, contains the town rules and the mayor's office.
• Message Boards - A small time capsule of events taking place in the town and other messages.
• Morshus Train Station - The main train station, currently only leads to Xulion's Tower.
• Cactus Farm Towers - Huge automatic cactus farm. Currently it's mostly unused, but it used to be the town's main source of income. A text saying NO DO$H is visible on the top of the towers.
• Sea Port - Small-scale recreation of a sea port.
• Port Crane - Building inspired by a port crane located in Gdańsk, Poland.
• The Stack Exchange - Building with a piston-like exterior which allows for stacking some unstackable items.
• Electric Cafe - Has an espresso machine style design.
• Morshu's Shop - Town Market with one double chest per town member, mostly unused except for one double chest owned by GreffMASTER.

Player houses

• GreffMASTER's house - The oldest building in MorshusParadise, has a pool and a balcony.
• Invictissimi's house - Tall wooden house with a square tower shape. Has a sugar cane farm in the basement and a tree on the bedrock level. On top of the house there's a Polish flag.
• Xulion's house - Highly detailed tower with a variety of blocks inside and a circular staircase. On top of the house there's a white flag.
• greenMachine1123's house - Small house with two floors.
• TOLOS3's house - House made almost completely out of wood with a small wheat farm outside.

Underground

The Underground is an area located mostly under the Town Center. It contains the functional part of the Cactus Farm, the town member counter, a train stop and underground entrances to Invictissimi's and Xulion's houses.

Other structures

MorshusParadise has structures that aren't directly within the town bounds, but they count as parts of the town due to being built by the town members and being very close to the Town Center.

DiamondPick Station

DiamondPick Station is a train station with rails going to either the Mountain House or the Underground Area. Originally it was designed as a mine entrance, but that idea was scrapped. It has a staircase that leads to the Underground Area.

Spleef Arena

A fully functional spleef arena with multiple snow layers and chests to store the snowballs when the snow layers need to be rebuilt.

Xulion's Tower (Four Sheep Outpost)

A tower on a mountain peak with a giant wheat farm below it. Has a train stop that leads to either the Mountain House or the Morshus Train Station.

Invictissimi's Mountain House

A small wooden house located on top of a mountain next to Xulion's Tower. Has a train stop that leads to either the DiamondPick Station or the Xulion's Tower.

History

The town's history from its earliest days on BetaLands to the recent events on RetroMC. Unknown dates are written as only month and a year.

Early Town History

• 31st July 2020 - The town has been created by GreffMASTER and Xulion with the name DoomerTown. GreffMASTER was the mayor.
• August-October 2020 - GreffMASTER built his house and a part of the main railroad. Xulion built the town walls.
• 2nd-13th November 2020 - GreffMASTER built a cactus farm, Morshus Train Station and a swimming pool.
• 26th November 2020 - The railroad from Morshus Train Station has been overhauled.
• 29th November 2020 - GreffMASTER made the first Xmas decoration in the town.
• 1st December 2020 - Invictissimi joined the town. A plot system was implemented where every town member got a single 16x16 plot.
• 2nd December 2020 - Invictissimi built his house.
• 4th December 2020 - GreffMASTER started working on the Underground Area and made the Post Office.
• 12th December 2020 - GreffMASTER extended the cactus farm to bedrock level, increasing its performance.
• 13th December 2020 - GreffMASTER started extending the town area.

Morshus Paradise BetaLands History

With GreffMASTER as mayor

• 18th December 2020 - GreffMASTER built the most important pixelart in the town - Big Morshu Pixelart. The town name was changed to Morshus Paradise.
• 20th January 2021 - Post Office is now functional after post boxes were built near plots.
• 23rd January 2021 - The player greenMachine1123 joined the town. GreffMASTER built a Feisar logo pixelart.
• 7th February 2021 - ElijahDaHuman joined the town. GreffMASTER and Invictissimi removed a wall separating the main town area and extended area (currently Lucre Street residential area).
• 17th February 2021 - The main street has been named Morshu's Street.
• 20th February 2021 - Lenin_1917 joined the town, but got banned the same day for namesquatting. GreffMASTER built the Electric Cafe building.
• 26th February 2021 - The Town Hall has been built.

With Invictissimi as mayor

• 23rd March 2021 - GreffMASTER stepped down as the mayor of Morshu’s Paradise and became an assistant. Invictissimi became the mayor.
• 17th-19th April 2021 - GreffMASTER built the Port Crane and the Sea Port.
• 21st April 2021 - Default houses were built on plots in the extended area.
• 7th June 2021 - The railroad from the Morshus Train Station to the center of the BetaLands map has been finished.
• 22nd June 2021 - All dogs in the town mysteriously disappeared.
• 5th-6th July 2021 - GreffMASTER built The Stack Exchange building.
• 17th September 2021 - The second cactus tower has been built.
• 19th September 2021 - Xulion built a tower on his plot in Town Center. Invictissimi extended his house vertically.
• 8th October 2021 - Voting for the new mayor has begun (rules: one vote per member, no self-voting).

With Xulion as mayor

• 10th October 2021 - Xulion won the mayor elections. Invictissimi became a town assistant.
• 2nd November 2021 - The Diamond Pickaxe Mines building (currently DiamondPick Station) has been created.
• 26th November 2021 - TOLOS3 joined the town.
• 18th December 2021 - Invictissimi decorated the town for Christmas inspired by previous year's decorations.
• 13th-22nd July 2022 - The Spleef Arena has been built.
• 13th August 2022 - GreffMASTER made a Lucario and a Commodore 64 logo pixelart.
• 29th August 2022 - Small Morshu pixelart has been built.
• 3rd September 2022 - A railroad connecting Morshu’s Paradise and Invictissimi’s Mountain House was made.
• 8th September 2022 - Xulion made a Yoda pixelart.
• 13th September 2022 - GreffMASTER made the Kraftwerk pixelart.
• 16th September 2022 - Tacsko joined the town.
• 26th November 2022 - The word DOSH written with green wool has been added to the cactus farm towers.
• 1st December 2022 - FindingRuin joined the town.
• 4th December 2022 - FindingRuin stole diamond blocks from the Spleef Arena and got banned.
• 19th December 2022 - After the recent ban of a town member, GreffMASTER decided that no more random players will be invited to the town.
• 23rd December 2022 - Invictissimi has rebuilt the previous year’s Christmas decorations for Xmas 2022. That was the last time the town had any Christmas decorations.
• 8th-9th July 2023 - The town has been migrated to RetroMC. The BetaLands version of the town has been abandoned.
• 2nd September 2023 - The town survived approximately 3 hours during the BetaLands Sendoff Event.

MorshusParadise RetroMC History

• 9th July 2023 - The town migration process has been finished. GreffMASTER built a stargate in the town center. The town was officially re-established with GreffMASTER as the owner.
• 10th July 2023 - Invictissimi rejoined the town as a town assistant. The same day he claimed all chunks of the Town Center for the new Morshu’s Paradise.
• 11th July 2023 – Invictissimi made a pixelart of Ness from Earthbound.
• 19th July 2023 - Invictissimi connected the Diamond Pickaxe Mines with his Mountain House via a railroad, replacing the previous station with a new Diamond Pick Station. He also connected the underground area with the new station.
• 21st July 2023 - Xulion rejoined the town as a town member.
• 22nd July 2023 - GreffMASTER made the Based Pepe pixelart.
• 24th July 2023 - Invictissimi connected the main railroad with Xulion’s mountain tower.
• 6th August 2023 - Fancy walls were built on some chunk borders of the town.
• 8th August 2023 - GreffMASTER made a Syberia pixelart near the town walls and connected Crappsville with the town’s stargate.
• 14th October 2023 - GreffMASTER made the PWEI logo pixelart.
• 9th November 2023 - Town rules have been updated to reflect the changes after town migration. All mentions of the town plots have been removed.
• 5th December 2023 - The word DOSH on the cactus farm towers was changed to NO DOSH due to the farm’s lack of use on RetroMC.
• 5th January 2024 - Invictissimi made a pixelart of Starman from Earthbound.
• 12th March 2024 - GreffMASTER made a pixelart named The Energy Dome.
• 19th March 2024 - GreffMASTER added flag-like decorations to the town.
• 24th March 2024 - New players can join the town again. SvGaming2704 joined the town.

Trivia

• The town contains many secrets and easter eggs, most but not all of them in the form of signs.
• The Spleef Arena was griefed twice, first time on BetaLands by a town member and second time on RetroMC.
