Wendover is a large town located in and around several big chunk errors. It was founded in late December 2019 by
JulekJulas. The town was home to almost 80 players until JVillage was introduced and decreased the town to around 10-15 players. The town now currently has 23 members.
History
On 26 December 2019. A player named
JulekJulas founded a town called Wendover. The town was located on an island in the middle of a lake surrounded in all directions by chunk errors. The town wouldn't gain much traction untill a couple of days later.
Growth
2 days later, a server frequent at the time,
alephcake (who was called cakedon at the time), would join Wendover. He would build a house and start making basic infrastructural work around the town. He would also alongside Julek advertise the town, resulting in a lot of new players joining. In early January 2020, the town had around 25 members, and was the most active town on the server at the time, frequenting around 3-5 players active at any given time. The town has grew out of the main island and expanded onto the walls and hills of the surrounding chunk errors. === Inactivity ===
Since late 2020, the town is very inactive, with occasional appearances of the founders,
JulekJulas and
alephcake (who is usually more active).
Important landmarks
Julek's House
Julek’s house was the first structure built in Wendover. It's a big wooden house with wooden roof. It consists of a basement, where Julek's personal items are located, a room with chests inside, and an attic, where a stash of bread was located, now it's empty, but offers an entrance to a balcony.
Wendover Storage Unit
Wendover Storage Unit is a big wooden chest located outside Julek's house. It holds chests with items, food, and resources accessible by every citizen.
Cake's House
Cake's house is located near Julek's house. It's a small shack made out of wooden and stone materials. Inside, there are a couple of chests and furnaces along cakedon's personal bed. It was supposed to be a church, but it was later decided to build a small hut. A church was built on a hill overlooking the town instead.
Wendover Ice Lake
Wendover is located on an island located on a frozen lake. A lot of houses and huts have been built around it, alongside bridges and pathways. No one really knows why the lake is covered in ice - It's located near warm forests and plains.
Wendover Shades
Wendover Shades is a big cobblestone platform above Wendover's main part. Underneath, there are a couple of apartments and a tree farm, called the Skytown.
The Tree
The Tree is a big tree located to the north-west of Wendover. It was built by the player
thomas98!in late December 2019. The tree was and still is the biggest monument of Wendover. It was griefed by an unknown player in the beginning of 2020, but was restored by the citizens soon after. It's made out of oak and spruce logs, slabs, planks, glowstone, leaves and fences.
Districts
Wendover is divided into different districts. All of them are connected to each other, and all of them have one main landmark.
Wendover Central
Wendover Central is the oldest district in the town. Its main landmark is Julek's house. It consists of many early builds, like Cake's house, Concobhar's mansion, and the storage unit. This is generally the least frequently changed region.

Cakeistan
Cakeistan is a play of words Kekistan, which is the biggest city on the server, and Cake, who is the founder of the district. It was the second district, starting the district division of the town. The district is mainly maintained by Matiok and Johan03PL. The main landmarks are Matiok's Grange and the Castle.
Concoville
Concoville is a smaller district. It is mainly known for its many castles and strongholds. The name derives from a player and town's assistant Concobhar.
Wendover Village
Wendover Village is the smallest district, placed near the border of Concoville and Central. It's main landmark is GeroX33's wooden three-story house.
Estate
Estate is a small district composed of several brick buildings.
Oasis
Oasis is a huge desert behind Concoville. It doesn't have many buildings, but it is key to Wendover's farm-based business. === Sub-towns === Sub-towns are together considered as one district. The sub-towns are named after minerals.
Ruby town
Ruby town consists of a big sky platform, a mineshaft, and several small buildings.
