CannonParty is a town owned by  bky88, located at about 1777 35 -13736 and neighbouring Okoboji. The claim encompasses the site of the 2025 Cannon Party event, which began with  TellTheL using a random peninsula to experiment with TNT cannons and eventually resulted in the destruction of the entire area. The Cannon Party took place on the 25th of May, 2025, and the land was claimed shortly after.

History

The party was kicked off when  Mobweb interrupted a conversation between  TellTheL and  Notex about TNT & pistons to ask if TNT cannons worked on the server.  TellTheL took to the testing site to check and quickly found that while they were enormously jank and only shot short distances, they did in fact work, driving  TellTheL,  Mobweb &  Notex to start building different TNT cannons across the island to find the farthest-flying configuration (this also resulted in the first casualty,  TellTheL).  bky88 showed up to watch at this time, but would go AFK in front of the TNT, prompting  Mobweb to build an (ineffective) obsidian wall between them and the TNT; the obsidian wall remains there at time of writing, but the ground it stood on has long since exploded, leaving it hanging in the sky.  Mobweb was also killed after being hit by both his and another person's TNT cannons.

While those four were busy removing the peninsula's top layer of grass,  sheep270 and  DogPool_ arrived.  Mobweb built a spiraling TNT tower and detonated it, flinging TNT towards  sheep270's cobblestone vantage point and knocking him to his death. By now everyone had mostly stopped building more cannons and were now making piles of TNT to blow up large portions of the ground;  DogPool_, while vanished, began to contribute with his personal TNT supply, and eventually the goal shifted to covering the entire peninsula in TNT.

Once the main area had been covered,  Mobweb built an obsidian tower to view the explosion from before going down to detonate the TNT. While he teleported back up to record the explosion alongside  Notex and  TellTheL,  sheep270 chose to remain on the ground to record the view down there, resulting in his death. The explosion wasn't continuous and  Mobweb had to detonate it at least three times to keep the reaction going, alongside  DogPool_ using staff flight to detonate stray TNT, but eventually the entire TNT chain had been used.

The Cannon Party didn't end there;  DogPool_ still had several more stacks in his supply and the crew began preparing for a second big explosion. This time only  Mobweb remained on the tower;  Notex,  TellTheL,  bky88 &  sheep270 remained on the ground, albeit at a distance. The explosion once again had to be re-detonated several times, and both  sheep270 and  bky88 were killed.

After all participants had exhausted their TNT supplies, one suggested claiming the area;  Mobweb suggested the name "CannonParty" in reference to the TNT cannons at the beginning of the event, as well as the idea of building in the craters.  bky88 made the claim and the other participants were invited as assistants.
