UIP Bank

UIP Bank is the national bank headquartered in the capitol city of the UIP that constitutes the consumer and commercial banking subsidiary of the UIP's national treasury. Opening in late 2024, it offers a competitive interest rate, and unmatched security for storage of personal items. It is the first and only bank on the server and has assets numbering over 1 million dollars.

History

The UIP Bank was founded in 2022 with the construction of it's foundations in the UIP Capitol. It was left unfinished until around November, 2024 when  aq2a began to plan out bank services. Still under construction, the UIP Bank strives to be the end all be all for secure storage of personal items.

Services

The UIP Bank offers a competitive interest rate of 4% to all accounts, and offers physical storage vaults at differing security levels. Some of these services are exclusive to UIP members, and may require customers to join the UIP to access.

Bank Accounts

Anyone may open an account with the UIP Bank at any time. Money placed in these accounts will accrue 4% interest each month compared to the server's 1.75%. The interest will be deposited back into the customer's account at the first of each month. You can open up an account at any time by sending  aq2a a message via the in-game /mail system, or through discord. Please include the desired name of your /bank account.

 aq2a will create a '/bank' with your desired name and add you to it. You will be able to deposit however much money you choose into the account. Because the UIP Bank will be the owner of the account, money deposited in here will contribute to the bank's server interest payment. This is how the bank is able to pay out a higher interest, as it has capital that is not paid interest on.

Some rules and regulations are in place to ensure both customer and bank safety in this operation.

• Money will never be taken out of your account by the bank (this includes if you are banned temporarily)
• In order to receive interest, you must log on at least 10 days prior to the first of the month.
• Your money must remain in your account until the server interest is paid out. (no withdrawing to receive double payments)
• You may give others access to your account, but the UIP Bank is not responsible for them.

Physical Storage

The UIP Bank also offers physical storage options that provide players a private place to store their items. These range from semi-secure to nearly impossible to access. These 'vaults' range by size and security level, allowing for you to store your items however securely you please.

Sizes range from:

• Safety deposit box (1 doublechest) - $10.00
• Small Vault (5x5x5 room) - $100.00
• Large Vault (9x9x9 room) - $500.00
• Luxury Vault (15x15x15 room) - $1000.00
