Les-Joueurs-Francais (lit. "The French Players") is a medium-sized town located at x -4594, z 3583, established in the last day of 2021. The town appears to be reserved only for French (or at the very least, french-speaking) players as the vast majority of the signs are written in French. A discord server exists but its link remains unknown.
It appears that 16.png Khoulps created this town as part of a larger project aiming to unite French players in many other servers. The town is now inactive since at least September 2022, probably after 16.png Khoulps was banned from the server. It is possible that the town had many more players in the past but that they all left after this ban was issued.

Buildings

It is a medieval-style town with many buildings spread across a valley with little infrastructure. Some of the most elaborate buildings are built inside the mountains encircling the town. Most of the claimed areas remain empty.

Information and rules

The general informations and rules about the town are located in a large underground room on the top of a mountain. The information is layed out as follow:

ℹ️ Notice: The following contents have been translated from French to English by 16.png samcraft3 (a french-speaking player).

General information

  • You will find in this room all the useful informations to blay in b1.7.3 and also on this server, and the objectifs of our project in RetroLands!
  • There are going to be a few rules to respect to keep the city clean and organized, and not anarchy. Thank you for your read! - Khoulps

Rules

  1. Maintain respect on the server even if it is english-speaking we need to have mutual respect.
  2. do not steal do not grief do not build at other people's places.
  3. Do not troll, please act with the minimum amount of seriousness in your constructions and build something beautiful.
  4. If your build is not claimed please report this to Khloups in #survie-beta [beta survival] on the discord server.

Objectives

The idea behind this event [this may indicate that this was part of large scale event] is to rediscover this old version, the b1.7.3 (version) has less things (features) and a certain level of difficulty. The idea is to build together a city with (list of buildings) etc, and all this with rules and seriousness. List of buildings to build:

  • House (with interior decoration)
  • Markets, Small path, maybe road
  • Why not a train
  • theme building (bar, restaurant etc.)
  • parcs
  • dé à coudre1
  • other minigames on the mountain

Everything is possible if you don't troll please.

Gallery

1: dé à coudre is an ancient french minigame (first shown on TheFantasio974's channel) where players fall into a pool and have to fill it up with blocks. The game gets harder and eventually people begin to die. The last survivor wins.
