On January 25th-26th, 2025, users
Shampooboots,
Spencer199, and
Waking_Hours had blown up part of a mountain in an event known as "The Big Boom." The trio, (known as The Boom Gang) were flattening for the mountain for
MorningSteph's developing palace. It involved over 30 stacks of TNT, and multiple casualties. (Most coming from
Spencer199.) They are still working on flattening the whole mountain, which has been proving to be a grueling process.
The Boom Gang, a trio of explosive experts, took it upon themselves to clear a massive area for
MorningSteph’s palace. Armed with 30 stacks of TNT (and $10,000 in debt), they got to work. They had no idea what they were getting into—except for
Spencer199, a true TNT master. Like kids in a candy shop and fueled by the immense power of TNT, the mountain didn’t stand a chance. While
E36Marshall kept singing about "diggy diggy hole," and
MorningSteph going completely insane with the amount of TNT being used, the gang was busy absolutely destroying the mountain. They were preparing for their first big boom.
Spencer199 dug down and placed a stack of TNT as he built up.
Shampooboots lit the TNT above him.
Spencer199 didn’t realize what was happening until he saw the blinking animation of the TNT! Alarms went off instantly, and with only two seconds to spare, he leaped out of the hole, yelling in real life, "WHY THE F### DID HE DO THAT!?!" Everyone else thought it was hilarious
Some time passed when
Spencer199 said, "Shampoo, I had to buy some sand, but I made six more stacks, and I'm going to place three stacks of TNT. It's gonna be big."
Shampooboots was all for it, saying, "Kaboom time!"
After the explosion,
Shampooboots said, and I quote, "We bring the boom." Shortly after,
Waking_hours joined back to see what progress had been made,
Shampooboots and
Spencer199 had just finished making 19 stacks of TNT, six of which the Boom Gang were going to place.
Waking_hours said, "Do 8."
E36marshall replied, "Reasonable."
The gang started making a 2x3 hole deep into the ground, where 3 stacks of TNT previously went off. Now, the hole was holding eight stacks of TNT.
Waking_hours suggested dropping a TNT from above. Thankfully, the gang didn’t die, but unfortunately,
MorningSteph got too close and got rekt.
After some more explosions, we later stood above the great boom pit we had made, and
Shampooboots said, "There should be a Wikipedia article about this event."
Waking_hours then said, "Called 'The Big Boom.'"
E36marshall said, "Def," and that’s how "The Big Boom" was created.
