Beetopia highway is a highway going from Beetopia to 0 on the Z axis. From there you can continue your journey on the X axis railroad not affiliated with the Beetopia highway. It is around 12.5 thousand blocks long. It tries to deviate as little as possible from a flat line unless it deviates to go around a player made build or village. The largest deviation is to get around a village called Isreal. The highway is 1 block wide and is lit up with torches. The highway starts near the Embassy row. The highway has been expanded from 1 block to 3 blocks wide on 3/23/2024. Adding rails to the highway is in progress.

Highway workers

16.png SvGaming2704 did most of the highway work. 16.png golfy84 contributed by placing cobblestone for about 2 thousand blocks of the highway while 16.png SvGaming2704 was breaking dirt in front of them. 16.png LordSniffler contributed by donating a whole inventory of cobblestone.

Torch placing

While the highway was built initially torches were placed occasionally mostly in tunnels. A few days later 16.png SvGaming2704 decided to completely light up the highway. This goal was finished in one day thanks to the coal and wood donations from 16.png ItsScientific, the Great Leader of Beetopia 16.png jcheese7, 16.png dezikon and 16.png MiszolI.

Adding rails

Adding rails to the railroad is currently in progress. 16.png mithkal helped out by donating some rails and powered rails.
