Mineville is a town owned and founded by
everminingkid. While it may not be specifically a mining town, mining is encouraged. It is currently a member of the United Steves of America.
History
Mineville was founded by
everminingkid on June 10th 2026, but technically was created on the 13th due to everminingkid's lack of money. It slowly gained members over time, but gained them steadily enough that Mineville reached a good large number of members to be on the top 20 villages (as of August 1st 2026). It included more active well known players like
Spencer199,
ArbiterGaming and
crazyfish292929, which may have helped convince some players to join.
Mineville's biggest project is the quarry. It is a large quarry that is around 300x300 blocks in area that is planned to be dug out to bedrock. It's most contributing member, called
Skull6, has reportedly gone insane over working at the quarry. The quarry is also home to a build that was supposed to be a build lesson by
crazyfish292929 that turned into a free-build.
The first notable event of Mineville was its first griefing on June 19, 2026. It was griefed by two players,
DalidaVOD and
ido_s. The two players destroyed multiple builds, claiming they were "their own builds" and that they were "renovating", which was not true. The two always built a purposely ugly build in Mineville as well. They were banned a day after their offense.
Another grief occurred on July 31, 2026, by
MicroVirus123, who destroyed crops and built dirt huts and other grief builds around the edge of the claim of Mineville. They were banned the same day.
Things to do
Mineville currently offers 4 main things to do, those being building cool buildings, working on the build swap project, play games with other residents at the Mineville Games Lounge, and mining in the quarry.
The Quarry
The quarry is a project that was founded around 2 days after Mineville was founded and is currently inhabiting an approximately 300x300 block space, which is bigger than
ItsScientific's hole. The project is always welcome to be worked on by any resident but currently the 2 main players that reside there are
Skull6 and recently
ETAZOR, who both work on mining out the quarry on a daily basis.
The quarry on the 18th of June 2026
September, 6, 2026
On September, 6, 2026, a notable Quarry event occurred, relating around
Skull6 and
Viric, where Viric was trying to keep Skull6 to the quarry. It started in a single chunk they were mining out, where .Sansjoy said something relating to banning the quarry since you can get lots of ores from it. Therefore, of course, Skull6 started getting insane. Viric was initially comforting them, but soon turned supporting the quarry (possessing?). Skull then did a little fit of random signs clearly clinging on to the last bit of sanity. And then ran off from the quarry.
After a bit of aimless running around, Skull failed to /home home, until eventually he did. He was then calming down at his house until Viric, who was in Skulltown, came to him and starting supporting the quarry more. Both of them were typing in full grammar, a classic trait of either being insane or possessed by the quarry. A chase sequence started where Skull starting running around and Viric followed. They eventually made through down the Skulltown mine and into some random cave.
(Honorable notice, Viric got one diamond from this.)
Then followed tight spaces where Skull kept trying to get away from Viric but he always came back. Eventually Skull got back into his house but, like always, Viric got out and continued. It was here learned that the Quarry is considered a "Mother", from what Viric said when possessed. It always works until Skull has the bright idea to trap Viric in a box and remove him from Skulltown, keeping him trapped.
But of course that wasn't it.
Graviola_98, who was in Skulltown, went to its spawn and freed Viric from the hole. Again, more trying to get Skull back into the Quarry. But Skull, still clinging on to the last bits of sanity, finally did something he's never done before. He left Mineville, and said one message. "Cant mine if I'm not allowed." He then left his house and successfully trapped Viric, with him still out of Skulltown and slowly moved away.
