Cradle is a small college-town which serves as the base of operations and technological infrastructure for the Cradle Science Foundation (CSF). Much of Cradle's architecture takes advantage of the mountains surrounding the town, and thus much of the academic facility is built into subterranean caves and quarries, which double provides a source of construction and industrial materiel which aids in its development. Specializing in technology and mining, Cradle exports glowstone, redstone machines, and in exchange imports materials for building academic and laboratory facilities which are not found in its native region (snow, wool).
