Much of Cradle's architecture takes advantage of the mountains surrounding the town, and thus much of the academic facility is built into subterranean caves and quarries, which double provides a source of construction and industrial material which aids in its development. Specializing in technological development and mining, Cradle exports glowstone, redstone machines, and stone, and in exchange imports materials for building academic and laboratory facilities which are not native to Cradle (snow, wool).

Cradle is a small college-town which serves as the base of operations and technological infrastructure for the Cradle Science Foundation (CSF).

Village Information -- the Cradle Science Foundation

Cradle -- and thus the CSF -- is a founding member of the United_Steves_of_America (USA) and serves as its head of technological infrastructure and development. Tasked primarily with the development of StarGates and development research, the CSF is developing facilities in major towns affiliated with and members of the USA, providing first-class Stargate-based transport between towns and CSF faculties while leading development of the Capital_City.

Geography and Economy

Much of Cradle's architecture takes advantage of the mountains surrounding the town, and thus much of the academic facility is built into subterranean caves and quarries, doubly providing a source of construction and industrial material aiding in its development. Specializing in technological development and mining, Cradle exports glowstone, redstone machines, and stone, and in exchange imports materials for building academic and laboratory facilities which are not native to Cradle (snow, wool).
