GrumpenBug
Camptown is a former lumber & stone camp founded by
Subway2073 in late 2024, located at approximately X: 13827 Z:-7349 in Middle-Northern RetroMC. It neighbours Avalon to the north, Gensokyo to the west and TipTopTown to the south, and is also a founding member of the Montana PumpkinWood Camptown (M.P.C.) confederacy.
History
Established in mid-December as a lumber & stone camp, Camptown initially had only three buildings; a tower, a small home, and a tent, all built by
Subway2073. Not long after its founding, however, Camptown entered its "Expansion Era", taking in 8 new members and kick-starting the construction of several new buildings, such as the temple by
UpmostOrc. Though work on a "Camptown Hotel" began at this time, the process had several difficulties and the hotel would eventually be repurposed as the Camptown Market instead.
