History

Iridium is an Cyberpunk city founded by 16.png Tesla_Ru, on February, 2024. Located at X = -18000, Z = 9600

He is the Chief Architect, having created several individual projects in the 4 corners of the server.

Most of the buildings are modern towers or cyberpunks with no particular style.
Iridium is an energy-intensive industrial city that has destroyed a large part of its mining and fossil fuel resources.

Following a meeting of the board of directors, the town has opted for political and economic autarky, and does not participate in any form of alliance.
This difficult choice has had far-reaching consequences for the town's development.

The economy is mainly organized by a centralizing state around the production of mining resources. Since its switch to 100% nuclear power, the city has encountered fierce opposition from abroad following a “minor” accident at the Mark One reactor. Martial law is still in place to limit movement around the power plant and control border crossings.

City Structure

The city is divided into 4 main parts, each with its own degree of advancement.

- Concorde” International Airport : with 2 main runways, it was saturated for several years and is little used today.

- The business district : /!\ In construction /!\

- The “Andropov” Nuclear Power Plant : Comprising 2 military nuclear reactors, it produces most of the energy consumed by the city.

- The Industrial Mine : /!\ In construction /!\

Other structures under construction include an oil platform in the Gulf of Saint-Juste and the gigantic “Vostok” industrial port.
