I joined RetroMC on a whim in 2019. The first thing I did before even making a base was start construction on the +X highway. Eventually I decided to make a house entirely out of furnaces near spawn. Once I made it to +15k on the +X highway, I decided to start building a town centered around massive walls made from lava casting cobblestone from build height. The walls span from x15000z-200 to x15401z200 making it a 402x402 blocks enclosed area. I named this town Southguard I got to about 18k-20k before User:Thanos_Cocc brought the +X highway to the 30k world border. Fun fact: Did you know the RetroMC overworld map has approximately the same square kilometers as the United States State of Rhode Island?
