Fish Town

Fish Town is a town that was created on April 20th, 2025 by  crazyfish292929. The town was created for Fish to build and do whatever he wanted without sticking to a theme, like his other town at the time Wheat Empire. The majority of the builds in Fish Town are all built by Fish himself, though there are some builds made by other players.

History

April Beginning

April saw the creation of Fish Town. Fish Town was created on a fairly large ocean that was uninhabited. Some notable builds at this time were the Fish Town parliament building, based on the one in Canada, as well as the now destroyed FishShop, which would be a shop run by Fish for many wares, excluding fish. The town didn't have much activity other than Fish, thought the player  Overallsteak748 joined as the first member of Fish Town.

Continued Activity in May

May of 2025 saw the original construction of the Fish Complex, then called the Fish Estate. It became Fish's main base of operations, containing his storage room and smelting furnaces. Fish also built a statue of his old skin in the location where the FishShop was meant to be. Fish made more small edits to Fish Town and the town continued to grow. Fish also built the first four pixel arts of Fish Town, the MC clown fish, Flygon (the Pokémon), Unown F (the Pokémon) and Link from The Legend of Zelda for the NES.

Death in June

Fish Town became inactive in June, as Fish became inactive this month. Fish Town gained basically 0 new builds in this month.

Short Return of July

Fish returned in July and made one of the biggest builds in Fish Town, the Nintendo Console Museum. The build was a large building made of cobblestone and glass, where inside giant version of Nintendo Consoles resided. This month Fish made the NES, the SNES and the Gameboy. More consoles would be added later. Fish continued to work on Fish Town throughout his activity this month.

Hiatus of August-October

These months were busy for Fish, so Fish Town made no progress whatsoever these months. See Fish's user page (  crazyfish292929) to see why.

Return in November

Fish returned to RMC in November, where he would begin work on Fish Town again. This month a lot was done on Fish Town, adding lots of new builds to the Town. Some builds included the "FR" island, an island made entirely out of wool blocks to replicate a real island as well as some basic buildings to add to Fish Town's vibe and fill in empty space.

December Continuation

In the last month of 2025, Fish consturcted Fish Town's Jurch, aka the Josh Church. It is a large building constructed for the purpose of worshipping Josh the flying Squid. This month also saw more builds, like the recreation of the desert pyramid seen in modern versions of MC. This month also saw the creation of the 256 Farm, which Fish used Fish Town to claim it.

January Incidents

This month Fish made the first expansion to the Fish Complex, it expanded a side of the complex and added a new area that surrounded the statue of Fish's skin. This month also had Fish Town's first incident,  Sheep270. The basics of what happened were Sheep had permission to build in Fish Town, though he made a large builds that remained unfinished for a while. This upset Fish, so he would later ask Sheep in June of 2026 if he would Finish it. Sheep told Fish he had no plans to finish it, so Fish kicked Sheep from Fish Town and took down all three of Sheep's builds (with permission). This month activity was low due to Fish working on the town Critter Zone with his friends,  internetdeer and  Jozf88.

February Slow Down

Not many builds were built in Fish Town this month, due to Fish's waning activity. Fish is not sure any builds were built if was being honest.

The Third Hiatus of March-May

Fish had another hiatus, so nothing was built in Fish Town.

Golden Age of June and July

June and July were Fish's biggest months on RetroMC, and the biggest for Fish Town. July started off with Fish expanding the Fish Complex, adding some extra room to it. In June Fish also built the StarGate building, which had room for 9 StarGates, including Fish's own. The large chess board was also built in a unused Fish Town expansion Fish had made earlier that year. These months Fish Town also gained many members, though none would really build anything. In July Fish expanded the Fish Complex, making it the largest build in Fish Town. Fish also learned about something he really enjoyed, making pixel arts. In July alone, Fish made about 15 new pixel arts in Fish Town alone. This made Fish Town feel more alive and filled in space that Fish had felt was empty.

War of August

In August, Fish decided that Fish Town should join the Nation of the Northern Empires (see NorthernEmpires (Nation)). By joining, he somehow offended the United Steves of America. This became the reason for the FishTown War.
