Dni is an underground town on RetroMC located at x 1709, y 6, z -3545 and is currently owned by  Ade1ie. It was founded around 2021 by  Wolfgang12, who later became inactive in Late-2022, and on February 25th, 2024, Dni was given to  Ade1ie (who was a town assistant back in 2022) after asking for a town ownership transfer in a ticket.

History

Early beginnings

Dni was founded around 2021 by  Wolfgang12 originally as an unnamed private project to hollow out a mountain (which unintentionally was located right next to a much older town named Minecity) so that he could then start on construction the town, and because of that,  Wolfgang12 would later call his town "Dni," a reference to an underground civilization with the same name from the Myst series. Later on in July of 2022,  Wolfgang12 was still not halfway done and he decided that it would be best to invite other players to help out in the project, with the first player he invited being  Ade1ie (who at the time was still a pretty new player) on July 7th, 2022, and would make him town assistant the next day as a way to invite more players while  Wolfgang12 was offline, and soon more players were being invited to help out in the project.

The Excavation Era

 Wolfgang12 and  Ade1ie would both start mining out the inside of the mountain and inviting new members at the same time. Players such as  KingAcorn (who would become the second town assistant of Dni),  sevnak, and  Zudsi would all help out, which helped speed up progress, and the mountain was almost completely hollowed out. Around that time,  Wolfgang12 would begin on selling ores that he and other members mined out and quickly became rich in money because of it. At peak, having around $17k, he would also donate tons of stone to other players and towns on the server, one example being where  Wolfgang12 would donate a mass ton of stone to  moude3, who was building a massive wall that would surround the area of Retro Games.  Wolfgang12 would also decide to rename Dni to "New Tarterra," create a new nation named the "Tarterran Reich," and apply for staff on the server, which was accepted. After all that happened, the mountain was finally completely hollowed out in August of 2022, thus it seemed like New Tarterra along with the newly founded nation of the Tarterran Reich would both experience a Golden Age, or so it seemed.
