Jonny's hobbit hole

Lore

Hobbitville was originally inhabited by the hobbits that live on the steep mountainside. When Jonny arrived at this location he decided to settle and transform the region, both visually and ideologically. In his first few months, Jonny quickly took control of power and instituted authoritarian religious rule over the Hobbits. At first things went smoothly, Jonny planted great amounts of wheat and built new hobbit holes which pleased the locals greatly. However, as the months went on Jonny became more and more ideologically strict and instituted harsher rules upon the local population. He built several religious monuments and forced the local population to worship his gods and even him as the ruler. This led to the eventual rebellion.

The rebellion happened on the backs of the proud Hobbits. They managed through a hard and bloody fight to take Jonny down in what is now known as the Great Awakening. This was when Jonny had his own awakening, he realized that his authoritarian rule through religion was not right. Jonny and the Hobbits decided to form a free and open republic under a new flag. A republic in which everyone was equal under a new constitution and not based on religion. A republic that was free from any alliance or faction on the server. To this day there is still evidence of that dark period in Hobbitville, like the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Dome of the Rock, and even the old flag. A monument was built next to the new flag of a bloodied Jonny to show the bloody rebellion that took place and the change that followed. Jonny even changed his Minecraft skin to mark this change and prove to the Hobbits that he was now a new man.
